The Lotte Giants will be hosting a Naval Operations Command Day at their home game against the SSG Landers on May 15.
The event is organized to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the U.S.-ROK alliance and the 70th anniversary of the Korean War, and will invite 500 servicemen and women from NORTHCOM and U.S. Naval Forces Korea. The 500 invited servicemen and women will be treated to a special NORTHCOM DAY, including snacks from Lotteria Chicken.
Prior to the game, the Navy’s military band will perform the national anthem. The game will be followed by a flag raising ceremony with Navy Vice Admiral Hwang Jin-sik, a member of a distinguished military family, and his three children who are currently serving or have served in the Navy, and Petty Officer 2nd Class Gregory Macaulay, who has been serving with the U.S. Navy in South Korea for five years, adding meaning to the 70th anniversary of the U.S.-ROK alliance. 먹튀검증
In addition, the team will operate a Navy promotional booth in the plaza, and during the game, the team will hold various scoreboard events to reflect the meaning of the 70th anniversary of the U.S.-ROK alliance.
Meanwhile, the club announced a mutual cooperation exchange plan with the Naval Operations Command in 2016, and has since supported the welfare and morale of naval personnel through events such as supporting naval personnel to attend home games and dispatching cheering squads to military units.
